Description

This multi-day trekking program in Cantabria will allow us to discover the essence and the heart of northern Spain. Culture, tradition, landscapes, green pastures, wild coast and "Picos de Europa" will make us appreciate each of the routes that we have specially designed for you. The contrast of the landscapes accompanied by a gastronomy that will make us appreciate its flavors and give us strength to face the excursion of the next day. A place we want to share with all of you.

DAY 1

MONTE BUCIERO


A circular route that crosses one of the most beautiful places on the Cantabrian coast, Mount Buciero, a rocky massif located in the town of Santoña and which flows into the sea. The cliffs and abundant oaks make this walk a delight for the hiker.

DAY 2

RUTA DEL PICO CERREDO

 

Very close to the maritime city of Castro Urdiales is Pico Cerredo, a limestone massif from which you have an impressive view of the Cantabrian coast.

DAY 3

CAMINO DE VALDEASÓN

 

In the Asón region, this path runs parallel to the road between Arredondo and the 70-meter fall from Cailagua, the source of the Asón river

DAY 4

VALLEY OF YERA Y VEGA OF STEPS

 

Two of Cantabria's most spectacular valleys, green pastures and traditional buildings will accompany us on this journey which will not leave us indifferent.

DAY 5

RUTA DE LLOROZA Y LOS PUERTOS DE ÁLIVA

 

Coming to Cantabria and not going to "FUENTE DÉ", the heart of the Picos de Europa would be a real sin. This descending path will reveal all the spectacular high mountains of the Picos de Europa.

DAY 6

MONTE TEJAS

 

The road to Mount Tejas takes us into the plain of the Besaya river, more precisely in the Buelna valley, to reach a magnificent forest of oaks and beeches, just over 200 meters above sea level, and see one of the caves listed as World Heritage by UNESCO in 2008

DAY 7

PICO JANO

The route begins in the village of Bárcena de Pie de Concha, which we cross until the detour to "Camino Real", which has been for centuries the road that linked Cantabria to the Meseta
